Current Issues in Human Resource Management?

Due to the numerous advantages, it provides, many businesses now embrace human resource management (HRM). However, there are numerous issues with managers of the HR department carrying out their tasks.

Many of those concerns about human resource management and its function in businesses are covered in this article. These concerns touch on performance evaluation, learning and growth, and job flexibility

How recruiting an issue for HRM?

Both individuals and organizations require personnel. Ideally, all sides would benefit, but this isn't always the case. Every business is affected by the largest recruiting difficulties as the recruiting industry changes. A strategic plan must be used by the HR team to solve these issues.

Finding the ideal candidate for the ideal position is the ultimate aim of recruitment. They should be the perfect fit for the position, blend in well with the team and company, and possess the necessary skills and expertise. The largest recruiting issue is the difficulty in finding these kinds of people.

As per Dessler (2013) to overcome the above issue the HR Manager should recognize that filling a relative handful of positions might require recruiting dozens or hundreds of candidates. The employers, therefore, use a staffing or recruiting yield pyramid as shown below,

 Figure 03

Given these percentages, the company is aware that it has to produce roughly 1,200 leads in order to be able to invite 200 qualified individuals for interviews at its offices. After conducting interviews with around 150 of the invited candidates, the company will then make 100 offers, and 50 candidates will ultimately accept the offer and join the company.

According to Armstrong (2012), people resourcing is the process of ensuring that an organization acquires, keeps, and uses its human capital effectively. Aspects of employment practice that deal with integrating new hires into the company and, if necessary, letting them go have also been incorporated into the HRM process.

In such situations, the Manager of human resources has to start the recruitment process from the very beginning & it is never ending task for him & his team.

Conclusion.

No matter the size or industry, managing a workforce is certain to present difficulties for every organization. The number and variety of difficulties encountered by human resources professionals continue to grow as firms place more emphasis on enhancing employee experience and culture.

Every business is affected by the largest recruiting difficulties as the recruiting industry changes. A strategic plan must be used by the HR team to solve these issues.
